April 10 -12, 2025 EDNANO-16 Congress
Submission and selection
Participants in EDNANO-16 may choose to submit a maximum of one oral and/or poster contribution. Contributions must be prepared using the guidelines provided in the Abstract Submission section and sent in a single email to info@ednano-16.unifi.it by the deadline (15/01/2025).
Once the deadline has passed, the symposium organizers evaluate all abstracts in terms of content and relevance to the symposium topic. If the demand for oral contributions is very high, some may be converted into poster presentations to fit within the congress schedule.
Once all abstracts are scheduled, acceptance letters will be sent to corresponding authors by February 12, 2025.
Authors must register for the congress and pay the participation fee by February 20, 2025. Contributions from authors who do not register will be discarded.
Following this deadline, the congress Program will be published.
Orals
Oral presentations must be in English.
Authors are required to bring their presentations exclusively on a USB drive in PowerPoint or PDF format. Speakers do not need to bring their own laptops.
It is recommended to upload the presentation file to the room's PC well in advance with the assistance of on-site staff. The presentation file can also be sent via email to info@ednano-16.unifi.it.
Oral presentations are allotted a total time of 20 minutes including discussion. Typically, a 15-minute presentation is recommended to allow 5 minutes for discussion and questions. Any timing changes due to organizational needs will be communicated before the start of the congress.
Posters
Posters must be in English.
Posters must fit within the A0 print format dimensions (841 x 1189 mm). Poster should be displayed vertically (vertical layout).
Posters can be displayed starting from the morning of April 10, 2025, and must be removed by the evening of April 11, 2025, in the dedicated area near the coffee break zone. On-site staff will assist those in need by providing adhesive tape and pins for hanging.
Abstract Submission will open September 16, 2024.
Participants in EDNANO-16 may choose to submit a maximum of one oral and/or poster contribution.
Abstracts must be written in English using the predefined Word template (LINK avable from 16/09/2025) and renamed by inserting the surname of the presenting author and the oral/poster preference.
E.g., surname_oral.docx; surname_poster.docx
The abstract for each contribution must be limited to one page.
It should include: Title, Authors, Affiliations, email of the presenting author, body text.
Optional elements may include: Figures, tables, acknowledgments, funding, bibliographic references.
Contributions must be sent in a single email to info@ednano-16.unifi.it by the deadline (15/01/2025). The email subject line must contain the phrase "EDNANO16 submission," and it is suggested to include the theme (e.g., pulse plating, magnetism, energy, sensing, corrosion, etc.) of the contribution in the body text to help organizers group contributions with similar themes in the program.
Confirmation of receipt will be sent within 1 working day via email.
Registration will open September 16, 2024.
The registration fee is 150 € per adttendee. An extra of 25 € is required if you wish to particepate to the social excursion.
